Our Pack System:
How We Welcome Your Dog
Step 1 — Register Your Dog
Before we plan anything, please create a profile for your dog:
🔗 doggydogfarm.aniday.io/login
We collect essential details like age, breed, health history, behavior, and any special needs — so we understand your dog’s personality before their first visit.
Step 2 — Book a Trial Day or Introduction Visit
Before boarding or daycare, every new dog must have a gentle introduction at our farm:
Option A: Short Introduction Visit (±1 hour)
- You and your dog visit the farm together.
- Meet our Pack Leaders, explore the surroundings, and let your dog settle.
- Free of charge if you book a stay within 30 days; otherwise, a €25 fee applies.
Option B: Full Trial Day (Daycare)
- A full day at the farm with playtime, cuddles, and plenty of exploration.
- Includes optional taxi pick-up and drop-off (Amsterdam, Haarlem, nearby).
- Cost: €25 - taxi pick-up and drop-off €10,-.
Step 3 — Gentle First Introduction
We always schedule your dog’s first arrival between 10:00 and 11:00, while the pack is on nap time.
This allows your dog to:
- Explore the farm calmly, without being rushed by other dogs
- Go on a long, gentle walk with one of our Pack Leaders (usually Keldt or Hayley)
- Be observed carefully for energy level, confidence, and social cues
Step 4 — Meeting the Alpha Pack
Before introducing your pup to the full group, we start with our own four farm dogs — the trusted “alpha pack.”
These calm, balanced dogs help us read your pup’s behavior and comfort level.
Step 5 — Gradual Introduction to the Main Pack
Based on what we observe, we introduce your dog slowly and carefully:
- Sometimes starting behind a fence to watch reactions
- Using a long lead if your dog needs reassurance
- Matching them to the group where they’ll feel happiest:
🐕 Main active pack — playful, energetic dogs
🐾 Gentle pack — seniors, puppies, or sensitive souls
🛋️ Mama DoggyDogFarm’s living room pack — small dogs or special-care guests
Step 6 — First Daycare or Overnight Stay
Once the introduction is complete, your dog can safely join daycare or boarding.
We’ll keep observing how they interact, which friends they make, and where they thrive — ensuring a tailor-made experience every time.
📌 Important Notes for New Pawrents
- Booking far in advance is essential, especially during summer and Christmas holidays.
- Female dogs in heat or expected to go into heat during their stay cannot be accepted for safety reasons.
- Vaccinations (including kennel cough) are legally required and must be uploaded before your first stay.
- New dogs cannot join during peak holiday periods unless they’ve completed a trial day and several overnight stays beforehand.
